FUTURE INITIATIVES

The Foundation is committed to positively impacting veteran homelessness through the establishment of The John 'Snow' Coughlan Veterans' Living Centres. These living centres are designed with specific goals:

- Providing short and medium-term transitional housing for homeless veterans and their families.

- Offering access to ongoing support services that cater to the unique needs of veterans and their dependents, helping them regain their independence and reintegrate into society.

- Welcoming single adults and families, including children, who are facing housing crises.

- Assisting individuals in securing affordable, long-term housing as part of our transitional accommodation program.

We aim to create a safe and supportive environment where veterans can rebuild their lives and find stability. By addressing the immediate housing needs and providing comprehensive support, we strive to empower veterans and their families on their journey towards a brighter future.

The Foundation intends to provide financial and personal support sought by any veteran or their dependants extending to and including

1. Financial assistance by way of direct non-repayable grants either as a lump sum or by instalment.
2. Personal assistance by way of supplying free of charge either pro-bono or regular services in respect of physical or mental health or temporary accommodation
3. Provide ongoing longer term financial support/assistance/safe environment in cases where veterans/families require overwatch of mental health issues or in cases of threatened personal harm or domestic violence. 

We're on a mission to boost the health and well-being of Veterans and their families through an exciting sport and recreation program. Get ready for a dose of camaraderie, mateship, and exhilarating activities that will keep you engaged and energized! Our inaugural Social Lawn Bowls Program is already in place and making a difference by bringing Veterans together for some friendly competition. But that's just the beginning! With the support of Veteran Sport Australia and ex-service organizations, we're expanding our repertoire of social activities.
