General Manager, Ad Astra Foundation

As General Manager of the Ad Astra Foundation, I am driven by a deep commitment to service, leadership, and creating meaningful, lasting impact for the veteran community. My connection to service is personal and generational my family’s history spans the Air Force, Army, Navy, and policing, grounding me in a lifelong respect for those who serve and the families who stand behind them.

My professional path has always centred on people and purpose. I previously served as a director in a family‑based business, building strong foundations in leadership, governance, and operational management. My work as a NDIS Support Worker I gained great experience working with clients including those with physical disabilities and complex diverse mental health needs. Later as State Manager for the national charity Wounded Heroes, I strengthened my focus on advocacy, crisis support, and practical care for individuals and communities navigating complex challenges.

Alongside my professional life, raising a family and now enjoying the gift of a beautiful granddaughter has shaped my understanding of stewardship. It has deepened my belief in building something enduring, improved outcomes not only for today’s veterans and their families, but for the generations who will follow them.

I am fortunate to work alongside a Board of Directors whose leadership is grounded in lived experience, integrity, and a genuine commitment to service. Their collective insight, compassion, and strategic guidance form a strong foundation for the work we do. Their leadership not only strengthens our governance, but ensures that every decision is anchored in purpose, accountability, and the long‑term wellbeing of the veteran community.

Together, with this strong leadership and shared conviction, I am committed to strengthening relationships across the veteran ecosystem, including Ex‑Service Organisations, veteran centric supports, donors, government partners, and local business and communities. We are positioning Ad Astra to deliver sustainable, high impact initiatives that honour service and create lasting positive change for all who are connected to it.
